Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within private homes and commercial premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Cleaning and tidying designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces
- Sanitising bathrooms and kitchens to meet hygiene standards
- Changing bed linens and organising spaces as required
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Assisting with laundry tasks when necessary
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Providing excellent customer service by respecting clients’ privacy and preferences
- Organising cleaning schedules in coordination with clients’ needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial work, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience or familiarity with hospitality environments
- Reliable transportation or proximity to the work location is preferred
- Flexibility to work part-time hours according to scheduling needs
