Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-enabled applications that consume GenAI capabilities from client GenAI platforms (e.g. LLM, RAG, summarisation, classification, and extraction services).
- Develop production-grade microservice and/or full-stack applications usingcloud-native and API-led architectures, integrating AI capabilities in a secure, reliable, and cost-aware manner.
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI applications, including local development, CI/CD deployment, runtime monitoring, and incident resolution.
- Build and maintain robust DevSecOps pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and infrastructure-as-code; implement observability, logging, metrics and alerting to support live production workloads.
- Collaborate with client GenAI Platform Engineers to feed back application-level findings, constraints, and improvement opportunities.
- Work with UX, Product, and Business teams to ensure AI applications are usable performant, and aligned to client business outcomes.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture forums, and technical documentation; support ongoing optimisation of performance, cost, and scalability of AI-enabled applications in production.
Skills:
- Strong software engineering background, with proven delivery of complex distributed, microservice-based systems that embed AI or ML capabilities.
- Strong programming capability in one or more of: Java, Python, or Node.js (backend); React, Angular, or TypeScript (frontend/full-stack); and solid experience integrating applications via REST and async/event-driven APIs.
- Excellent DevOps capability: CI/CD pipeline design and automation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent), containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Experience operating applications in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), with strong command of non-functional requirements: security, resiliency, scalability, performance, and observability.
