Premier Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school near Knutsford seeking an experienced and resilient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil until the end of the academic year.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated TA who can build a positive relationship with a child who has emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to engage successfully with school life and learning.

Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a ks2 pupil

Supporting a child with emotional and behavioural needs

Building a consistent, trusting, and positive relationship

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team

Supporting the pupil during lessons, break times, and lunchtime activities
-
Supervising and engaging with the pupil during breaks and lunch, meaning your lunch break will be taken at a different time from other staff members

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies

Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, emotional, or behavioural needs

A calm, patient, and resilient approach

Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

Ability to remain positive and consistent in challenging situations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
