We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Driver on behalf of our client based in the HU15 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Counterbalance Driver to join a busy warehouse operation on regular day shifts.
The successful Counterbalance Driver must hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance licence and have a minimum of 6 months previous experience operating Counterbalance trucks within a warehouse environment.
As a Counterbalance Driver, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse and MHE duties, ensuring stock is moved safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Counterbalance trucks safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials across the warehouse and production areas
- Stock replenishment and putaways
- Supporting general warehouse duties alongside Counterbalance work
- Carrying out daily MHE checks before use
- Following all warehouse procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Driver licence (essential)
- Minimum 6 months previous experience as a Counterbalance Driver
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Awareness of safe MHE operating procedures
