As Sous Chef, you’ll be right at the heart of the kitchen — cooking great food every day while supporting the Head Chef in leading a large, high-energy brigade. This is a role for a Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and loves developing people as much as delivering quality.
You’ll help drive a well-organised, high-performing kitchen, keeping standards high and the atmosphere positive. Working closely with the Head Chef and General Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering great food, building a strong team, and achieving solid commercial results. #goodvibesonly
The Role
- Support the Head Chef in leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team
- Deliver consistent, high-quality food in a busy, high-volume environment
- Maintain high standards across food quality, hygiene and presentation
- Assist with stock control, ordering, rotas and labour management
- Help train, mentor and progress junior chefs
- Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- Contribute to a positive, supportive kitchen culture
About You
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a high-volume or casual dining kitchen
- A confident leader who leads by example
- Organised, calm under pressure and commercially aware
- Passionate about food, teamwork and development
