Guildhall Feoffment Community Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant Key Stage 2.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Supporting the pupil - Duties to include:
to aid the children to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and individually
clarifying and explaining instructions
ensuring children are able to use equipment and materials provided
motivating and encouraging children as required.
Supporting the teacher - Duties to include:
to assist the class teacher in providing a stimulating and organised learning environment for the children
to assist the class teacher by supporting groups and individuals
to prepare classroom materials, including photocopying, laminating, classroom displays etc
to provide regular feedback about the children to the teacher.
Supporting the school - Duties to include:
to assist in the supervision of children at playtime
as appropriate, to apply first aid, look after sick children and attend to physical needs
to assist in the day-to-day organisation of the school.
You will need:
a good level of numeracy, grammar and literacy
effective communication skills
an inclusive and positive approach.
