We are seeking a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety. The ideal candidate is passionate about pastry arts, has excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, cookies, and specialty baked goods.
- Develop and test new recipes to enhance the menu and meet customer preferences.
- Decorate cakes and desserts to high presentation standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control across all products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients and supplies as required.
- Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Minimize food waste through effective planning and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to plan seasonal menus and special event desserts.
- Supervise, train, and support junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Prepare custom cakes and desserts for special occasions and events.
- Stay informed about industry trends, techniques, and innovations in pastry and baking.

Pay: £32,000.00-£41,483.30 per year
