Overview
We are looking for a friendly and reliable team member to join our sweet shop. The role involves opening and closing the store, serving customers, using the till, restocking shelves, and helping keep the shop clean and organised throughout the day.
We’re looking for someone approachable, hardworking, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Retail experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Hours are non negotiable:
Sunday 9:45am - 4:15pm (30 Minute Break)
TOTAL HOURS: 6
Must be flexible to cover staff holidays
Rate of Pay: NMW +30p per hour
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the shop
- Serving customers and providing friendly customer service
- Using the till and handling payments
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well stocked
- Replenishing sweets and displays throughout the day
- Helping customers with any questions or enquiries
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the shop
Skills & Experience
- Friendly, reliable, and approachable
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Comfortable handling cash and using a till
- Retail experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided
- Punctual, organised, and hardworking
