Overview
We are seeking 3x skilled and reliable Painter and Decorators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those with experience in construction painting and decorating to contribute to a range of projects, from residential to commercial properties. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections prior to painting or decorating
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications
- Mix paints and colours according to specifications
- Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures during work
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or issues
- Excellent attention to detail
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or similar roles
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, wallpapers, and application techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or instructions in English
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between sites
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of quality

Pay: £180.00-£190.00 per day
