Link3 Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Unqualified Teacher to inspire and engage students in the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. This role is available for an immediate start with both full-time and part-time positions considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess dynamic PE lessons in line with the national curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
- Promote physical health and well-being through a wide range of activities and sports.
- Manage student behavior effectively, encouraging respect, discipline, and team spirit.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all students to participate and thrive.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and school events.
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
- A commitment to raising standards and delivering engaging PE lessons
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
- Previous experience teaching PE in UK secondary schools
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular sports programs and school life
- Flexibility to teach additional subjects or across year groups
- Additional qualifications (e.g., First Aid, safeguarding training, SEND awareness)
