An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Plymouth as a Warehouse Operative on a temporary to permanent basis within a food production environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including operating a Reach Forklift Truck, handling stock, and using warehouse systems to ensure goods are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key duties include:

Operating a Reach Forklift Truck safely and in line with company procedures

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and warehouse racking

Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch

Using handheld scan guns to record stock movements

Inputting and updating information on warehouse computer systems

Carrying out stock checks and inventory control

Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements:

Valid Reach Forklift Licence is essential

Previous warehouse experience is required

IT literate, with confidence using computers and handheld scanning devices

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work night shifts and meet deadlines

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Pay rate:
-
£14.52 to £15.18 per hour
Shift Schedule:
Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Night shift - 18:00 to 06:00
