About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Leather Worker to join our team within the UK tanning industry. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a highly skilled and traditional trade while gaining practical experience in leather production and processing.
Over the course of the two-year apprenticeship, you will receive hands-on training and support from experienced leather workers, developing the knowledge and skills required to build a long-term career within the leather manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Leather Worker, you will learn to:
- Assist with the processing and finishing of leather products.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, handle and inspect leather throughout various production stages.
- Understand different leather types, finishes and tanning processes.
- Carry out quality checks and maintain high production standards.
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
