Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated gymnastics Teacher to join our educational team. The job will be on fridays 4:15-7:15pm
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Educate students on a variety of subjects while incorporating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational practices.
- Incorporate sports coaching techniques into lessons where applicable, promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness.
Qualifications
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum relevant to the age group being taught.
- Experience in sports coaching is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining high standards of education.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and assessment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
