Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced pastry chef to join our bakery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone experienced with pastry and Viennoiserie looking for their next challenge. This role involves supporting our head baker to create a pastry menu for a growing business, from croissants, to pain au choc, danish, and zero waste products such as croissant loaf. Full time or part time positions are available for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have high standards for baking and food preparation, attention to detail, and previous experience in a bakery setting with laminated pastry and Viennoiserie.

Duties
- Prepare and bake a range of pastries, cakes, and other baked products according to recipes and quality standards
- Bread experience is preferred but not essential
- Assist in the organisation and management of ingredients and baking supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery work area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and presentation of baked goods
- Follow all health and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in pastry and viennoiserie
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a kitchen as part of a team
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality products,
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
