The Opportunity
The successful candidate will join a close-knit team and enjoy a varied mix of consultations, medical workups and surgery.
This role would suit a veterinarian with at least 3 years of UK small animal experience who is confident with routine first-opinion practice and enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
You will work alongside experienced veterinary professionals and benefit from a supportive environment where help and collaboration are always available.
Most importantly, the practice is looking for someone who will contribute positively to the team culture and share their commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Working Pattern

- 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (consults only)

About the Practice
This independently owned small animal practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care and has developed a loyal client base within the local community.
The practice is well-equipped to support a varied first-opinion caseload, including digital radiography, a dedicated surgical theatre, modern anaesthetic and monitoring equipment, dental facilities and an in-house laboratory.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced team that values collaboration, open communication and continuous learning. Cases are worked up thoroughly, workloads are realistic and support is always available when needed.
The practice also benefits from visiting specialists, providing additional opportunities for case discussion, professional development and clinical growth.

About You
We are looking for a veterinarian who:
- Is MRCVS registered
- Has at least 3 years of UK small animal experience
- Is confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Enjoys building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Works well within a collaborative team environment
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is committed to delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Is seeking a long-term opportunity within an independent practice
