The Role:As a Trainee Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside experienced staff to support the care and development of children aged [insert age range, e.g., 0–5 years]. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised childcare qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children
- Support daily activities, including play, learning, and mealtimes
- Help plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observe and report on children’s development
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and caring nature
- No prior experience required (training will be provided)
Desirable (but not essential):
- Basic knowledge of childcare or early years education
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
