Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and target-driven Mandarin-speaking Education Recruitment Consultant to develop and lead our student recruitment strategies in the Mandarin-speaking market. This is a pivotal role that combines sales, marketing, consultancy, and relationship management to drive the company's growth. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Strategy Development: Develop, plan, and implement comprehensive international student recruitment strategies tailored to the Mandarin-speaking market to meet and exceed enrolment targets.
Market Analysis: Research and analyse market trends in international education to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective students and their families, providing expert guidance and counselling throughout the entire application process.
Partner Liaison: Liaise with and visit partner schools, colleges, and universities across the UK to stay updated on their programs, entry requirements, and promote our services.
Marketing & Promotion: Plan and participate in overseas education exhibitions, school fairs, and online webinars to promote UK education and generate leads.
Application Management: Provide professional advice on course selection, application procedures, and visa requirements. Assist students in preparing strong applications and supporting documents.
Negotiation & Conversion: Negotiate and agree on contracts and terms of business with clients and partners, working to convert enquiries into confirmed enrolments.
Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and strategies to management.
Person Specification (Essential Skills & Experience):
Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential (both written and spoken).
Experience: Proven experience in a sales, recruitment, consultancy, or customer-facing role is preferred.
2 years+ background in international education or similar background is a must.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Drive & Initiative: A results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive individual with a proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
Organisational Skills: Excellent administrative and organisational abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office Suite).
