Role: Policy Development Officer
Salary: £45,963.35 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,195. There is the ability to progress to £52,355.86 over the next 3 years.
Current employees in banding 28-34 will maintain their existing salary.

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Policy Development Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of Labour’s policy development work, and to provide general project management support to the Policy and Research Directorate.
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent understanding of stakeholder engagement and relationship management- Experience of project management
- Planning and delivery of online and in-person events and training
- Excellent political judgement
The Labour Party’s standard working arrangement is that all employees based in headquarters in London/Newcastle attend their contracted office four days per week, Monday to Thursday. Home working is only authorised on Fridays.
