We are looking for a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic multitasker to join our Café team. This hands-on, front-of-the-house role is perfect for a vibrant, outgoing person with a proactive attitude who can create a welcoming and fun environment for all customers.
Please note you must be able to commute to Edinburgh International Climbing Arena: Ratho, South Platt Hill, Newbridge, EH28 8AA.
What You’ll Do:
- Preparing a range of simple meals, hot & cold drinks, and serving all customers efficiently and with a friendly attitude.
- Keeping the café and kitchen areas clean and welcoming by clearing tables, recycling food items, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Replenishing and monitoring stock items.
- Handling card transactions accurately, ensuring all sales are processed smoothly.
- Participating in regular training sessions to keep your skills and knowledge up to date.
What You’ll Bring:
- REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene certificate and barista training
- Previous hospitality experience demonstrating exceptional customer service.
- Experience in basic food preparation and food assembly to comply with Food Safety & HACPP.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage and connect with a varied customer base.

- Edinburgh International Climbing Arena: Ratho - 35.75 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday, a mix of early & back shifts. Earliest start 09:45 & latest finish 20:15)
