About the Role
Are you a compassionate, caring individual looking for a role with real purpose? As a Live-In Home Care Companion, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life every single day while helping them remain independent, comfortable, and safe in the place they love most – their own home.
This is much more than a care role. It's about building genuine relationships, sharing everyday moments, and becoming a trusted source of support, companionship, and reassurance. You'll help customers maintain their routines, independence, dignity, and wellbeing, while encouraging them to continue living life on their own terms.
At the heart of everything we do are our values of Compassion, Respect, Integrity, and Commitment. We believe great care starts with treating every individual with kindness, respecting their choices and independence, doing the right thing even when no one is watching, and going the extra mile to provide outstanding support.
No two days are ever the same. One day you might be helping prepare a favourite meal, supporting someone with their morning routine, or accompanying them to an appointment. The next, you could be enjoying a walk together, helping with household tasks, encouraging hobbies, or simply sharing stories and laughter over a cup of tea. Often, it's the little things that make the biggest difference.
As a Live-In Home Care Companion, you'll provide personalised support tailored to each customer's individual needs. Some customers may require practical assistance with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, or medication, while others may value the companionship, confidence, and reassurance that comes from having someone they trust by their side.
This role offers the unique opportunity to become a valued part of someone's daily life, helping them stay connected to family, friends, and their local community while continuing to enjoy the comfort and familiarity of home.
We're looking for people who bring warmth, patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to everything they do. Previous care experience is preferred but not essential and due to the location of some of our customers it is beneficial to have a driving licence and access to a car. If you share our values and have a genuine passion for helping others, we'll provide the training and ongoing support you need to thrive.
In return, you'll join a supportive, values-led team that recognises and appreciates the incredible work our carers do every day. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, develop new skills, and enjoy a rewarding career where your compassion, commitment, and dedication truly make a difference.
If you're looking for more than just a job and want a role where kindness, connection, and purpose are at the heart of every day, we'd love to hear from you.
