Apprentice Dental Nurse
The practice is located in the idyllic picturesque town of Stockbridge, Hampshire, only a short distance from Salisbury, Romsey, Andover, or Winchester. Stockbridge was named one of the 21 'it towns' to live in and the high street is full of award winning eateries, pubs, independent boutiques, delis and galleries.
River Dental is a beautiful boutique style fully private state of the art modern four surgery practice located on the River in Stockbridge. We are well established and have an excellent reputation for our patient care, being winners of Best Patient Care at The Private Dentistry Awards for the past two years.
Alongside general dentistry our nurses gain valuable experience in nursing for all specialties including Endodontics, Implants, Orthodontics and Periodontics.

Salary: Apprentice wage appropriate to age and as determined by Gov.co.uk.
Hours: Full time 8.15am-5.30pm (20% of hours paid study time).

Key responsibilities & duties:
- Assisting Dentist with all clinical aspects of the surgery
- To provide excellent patient care
- Maintain high levels of cross infection controls and materials
- Perform all duties in line with the Code of Ethics and GDC Standards
- To assist on reception to complete administration duties
Work experience and skills:
Ensure all requirements from Training Company are met and maintained throughout the course to qualify at level 3 Dental Nursing NVQ. This will include webinars, practical tests and written exams on a strict timetable/schedule
