Ecohomes Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Senior Care Coordinator to support the delivery and growth of our domiciliary care service.
This is a dual-role position combining care coordination and direct care support. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care packages, managing staff rotas, overseeing care plans, supporting compliance activities, conducting care reviews and spot checks, and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.
As we are a growing service, this is not solely an office-based role. The successful candidate must be willing and able to provide direct care and support to service users when required, including covering care calls during periods of staff absence, annual leave, emergencies, or service growth.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and wishes to develop into a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager position as the company grows.

- Coordinate and manage care staff rotas to ensure all care visits are covered effectively and efficiently.
- Develop, review, and update personalised care plans in collaboration with service users, families, and care staff.
- Conduct care assessments, care reviews, spot checks, and staff supervisions.
- Supervise and support care workers to ensure the delivery of consistent, compassionate, and person-centred care.
- Liaise effectively with service users, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, induction, and ongoing development of care staff.
- Maintain accurate records, care plans, risk assessments, and compliance documentation using electronic care management systems.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice standards.
- Monitor quality standards and promote continuous improvement across the service.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
- Provide direct care and support to service users when necessary, including personal care, medication support, companionship, meal preparation, and community-based support.
- Assist with covering care calls during periods of staff shortage, annual leave, emergencies, or service expansion.
- Lead by example and promote a positive, supportive, and professional team culture.
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running and future development of the service.
- Contribute to business growth by building positive relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and referral sources.
