About the Role
Newark Golf Club is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to help lead the clubhouse hospitality operation during an exciting period of growth and investment.
With significant developments taking place across the club — including a refurbished clubhouse, new food offering and wider hospitality plans — this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer service, standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the bar operation, supporting staff, maintaining high standards and helping deliver an excellent customer experience across the clubhouse and events business.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervising the day-to-day running of the bar operation
· Leading by example in delivering excellent customer service
· Supporting and motivating the bar team during busy service periods
· Assisting with staff training and maintaining service standards
· Ensuring the bar and clubhouse are clean, organised and well presented at all times
· Managing stock control, cellar management and ordering support where required
· Assisting with functions, golf days and club events
· Handling customer queries and ensuring a professional guest experience
Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for someone who:
· Has previous bar or hospitality supervisory experience
· Is confident leading and supporting a team
· Has excellent communication and organisational skills
· Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment
· Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail
· Is proactive, reliable and professional in their approach
· Has experience with cellar management and stock control (preferred but not essential)
Personal licence holders would be advantageous but are not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
