Press Brake Operator – Immediate Start Available

Singletons Engineering are urgently seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our growing team for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and expanding engineering business with long-term progression opportunities available for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
- Overtime available paid at time and a half
The Role
- Setting and operating Amada press brakes or equivalent machinery
- Reading and working from technical engineering drawings
- Folding and forming sheet metal components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Adjusting machine settings during production runs when required
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous press brake operating experience within an engineering/fabrication environment
- Experience using Amada machinery or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Mechanical understanding and confidence using measuring tools
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated attitude
