Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operational running of the service
- Oversee the implementation, review, and monitoring of individual care plans
- Supervise, mentor, and support care staff to deliver high standards of person-centred care
- Ensure residents' needs are met in a safe, respectful, and dignified manner
- Promote resident wellbeing, encouraging independence, choice, and participation
- Assist with staff recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development
- Support the delivery of consistently high-quality care services
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
- Promote a positive, welcoming, and professional environment within the service

Requirements
- Proven experience in a Deputy Manager, Senior Care Worker, Team Leader, or similar role within a healthcare setting
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum)
- Strong understanding of care planning and person-centred care delivery
- Experience supervising and supporting care staff
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills and strong command of English
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection responsibilities
- Willingness to undertake mandatory training and professional development
