Management Accountant - London
Next Ventures is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis across a multi-entity international group, supporting business performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts for UK and international entities.
- Produce financial analysis and commentary for senior management.
- Perform gross margin analysis and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Complete P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Calculate and validate commission payments.
- Prepare and submit UK and international VAT returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Work with finance and operational teams to improve reporting and processes.
About You
Essential
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of month-end processes, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting.
- Experience within recruitment, staffing, or professional services.
- Understanding of contractor payroll, commission schemes, and revenue recognition.
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
Desirable
- Experience with Access Financials and TSP.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a multi-entity or international business.
