Enfield Tubes Limited is seeking a dedicated and motivated Process Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality products, and is keen to develop their skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting the delivery of products that meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment in line with company procedures.
- Set up production equipment to customer specifications, following SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) principles to ensure efficient changeovers.
- Minimise process waste and scrap while maintaining product quality.
- Reduce downtime between changeovers and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise productivity and throughput.
- Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
- Ensure finished products are packaged to specification, enabling safe handling, storage, and delivery to customers.
- Follow all operational procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
