ABOUT THE ROLE
Central Auto Centre is a busy, well-established garage based in Orpington, Kent. We carry out a wide range of work including servicing, MOTs and complex repairs across all makes and models. We're looking for an experienced Master Technician to join our team and play a key role in our workshop.
This is a Monday to Friday role — no weekends — with a salary of £45,000 or more depending on experience.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across a wide variety of vehicles
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues
- Carrying out MOT tests (if qualified — desirable)
- Servicing, maintenance and complex repairs
- Supporting and mentoring junior technicians
- Maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Confident with diagnostic equipment and software
- MOT tester qualification — desirable but not essential
- EV / hybrid vehicle training — desirable; full training offered if not held
- Strong fault-finding ability across all makes and models
- Full UK driving licence
