Support Worker Vacancy – Brain Injury Support (Male Client, 70s)
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join a care package supporting a gentleman in his 70s who is currently residing at Daniel Yorath House. The package is anticipated to commence following discharge in July.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced support staff who are confident supporting individuals with neurological conditions within the community.
About the Client
- Male client in his 70s
- Planned discharge in July
- No challenging behaviours
- Female staff preferred
Support Requirements
- 2:1 support during the day
- 1:1 sleeping nights
Shift Pattern
Monday - Sunday - 12 -Hour shift will be required to work across alternate weekends.
Rates:
- Weekday Shift: £16.50
- Saturday Shift: £17
- Sunday Shift: £17.50
Additional Information
- Initially, transport will be provided via a WAV taxi account
- Client will eventually have access to a WAV vehicle
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25+ with a FULL and CLEAN UK driving license.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for support workers who are:
- Experienced in brain injury, neurological, or complex care support
- Calm, patient, and person-centred in their approach
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with shift patterns
