Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team, MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING WITH TRAILER AND LIFTING HEAVY GOODS . The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management.
