About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) or experienced Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bedfordshire from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach within Key Stage 2, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable pupils to achieve their full potential. The position is initially offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues and the wider school community
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in staff meetings, training and school events
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and pupil welfare
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
- A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all pupils
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
- For ECT applicants, successful completion of placements demonstrating effective classroom practice and confidence in delivering the primary curriculum
