Ace Recruitment are recruiting for a well-established logistics company based in South Kirkby.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of HGV/LGV operation, the ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions are required as well as a professional manner. Drivers must have a minimum of 6 months class 1/Category CE driving experience and speak good basic English.
Regular work is available and all shift patterns can be accommodated on days and nights. Guaranteed ongoing work is available for flexible drivers. A full site induction must be completed before your first shift which is paid. Immediate starts available.
Key details of the role are as follows:
- Lone‑working role
- Drivers will be required to open and close stores operator dock levellers and tip the trailer alone
- Minimum 12‑hour shifts
- Trailer loads typically ranging from 60–80 cages
- Trailers are predominantly double‑deck
- A high level of responsibility and common sense is essential due to the nature of the work
