Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are upheld, and maintaining a high-quality dining environment. The F&B Supervisor will play a key role in managing food preparation, service delivery, and team management to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the F&B team, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Lead by example in cooking, food production, and hospitality service to foster a positive team environment.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of the establishment.
- Assist in training new staff members on food safety procedures, service protocols, and culinary techniques.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; liaise with suppliers as needed.
- Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation and cooking.
- Strong team management abilities with excellent leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or restaurants is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations.
- Experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A professional attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
