We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality bespoke cabinetry for Kitchens, contributing to various construction and renovation projects. Duties
- Fabricate custom joinery and cabinetry according to technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood and other materials to precise standards
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet client expectations
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
- Assist with other construction-related tasks such as roofing, plumbing, or masonry as required
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and joinery techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, planes, and screwdrivers
- Skilled in the use of power tools including drills, routers, sanders, and saws
- Strong knowledge of carpentry principles and construction practices
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship and quality standards
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
This position is paid in accordance with industry standards and offers an engaging environment for those passionate about woodworking and construction trades.
Pay: £32,500.00-£42,000.00 per year
