Forest School Educator – Barnkids Day Nursery (Godalming)
Are you passionate about the outdoors and inspiring young minds through nature-based learning? Barnkids Day Nursery in Godalming is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Forest School Educator to join our friendly team.
About the Role:
As our Forest School Educator, you will lead engaging outdoor sessions that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children. You’ll help foster a love for nature while supporting children’s development through hands-on exploration and play.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Forest School sessions
- Create a safe, stimulating outdoor learning environment
- Encourage children’s independence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Carry out risk assessments and maintain safety standards
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff and communicate effectively with parents
What We’re Looking For:
- Forest School qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
- Experience working with early years children
- A passion for outdoor education and child development
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, positive, and nurturing approach
