About Us
Join Aurora HVAC's team as a Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial air conditioning and Refrigeration systems. This hands-on position involves travel to various sites, requiring you to act swiftly and efficiently in urgent situations. We’re looking for a skilled and proactive professional with strong mechanical expertise and leadership abilities to enhance our innovative engineering department.
This is not a 9-5 role. We endeavour to work within parameters of a working day however due to the nature of the work overtime and on call work will be expected.
A strong work ethic and a sense of pride in your work is crucial.
Ability to adapt to changes and last-minute emergencies
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and installations on equipment such as VRVs, VRFs, Split Systems, Fan Coils, Chillers and Refrigeration equipment
- Inspect and work on components.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues effectively.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and replace faulty parts.
- Troubleshoot faults with precision - Must have high first fix rates
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth project completion.
Key Skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in air conditioning engineering.
- Strong understanding of commercial air conditioning and Refrigeration systems.
- Skilled in pipework for varied system installations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective teamwork.
- Strong time-management skills to meet client deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Valid driver’s license for travel requirements.

Position Details

Required Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in AC & Refrigeration engineering (required).
- Licence/Certification: Valid driving licence (required).
- F gas Certificate
