Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop barista skills whilst supporting various operational tasks within the establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or other menu items as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and customer spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling transactions using the till system.
- Manage stock levels, restock supplies, and organise storage areas to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
Skills
- Proven barista experience is essential, preferable speciality focused.
- Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure hygiene compliance across all duties.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with a friendly demeanour.
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction.
