Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Chair Renter to join our dynamic beauty and wellness team. This role offers the opportunity to operate within a well-established salon environment, providing a flexible working arrangement for experienced beauty practitioners and stylists. The ideal candidate will possess strong store management skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. As a Chair Renter, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule while benefiting from our supportive salon infrastructure.
Duties
- Manage your own client appointments, ensuring punctuality and professionalism at all times
- Deliver a range of beauty services including barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application
- Upsell additional treatments and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within your designated chair area
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and handling enquiries
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices when applicable, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and continuously develop your skills through training opportunities
Experience
- Proven experience in store management or running your own salon chair rental business
- Skilled in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or related beauty treatments
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Experience in upselling products or services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Previous work in a front desk or reception role is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to mentor colleagues or apprentices is desirable but not mandatory
