Overview
Monday to Friday Tramping, 4 nights out per week, Curtain side dock work (Immingham) with some general haulage runs.

£25 per night out (Tax free £100)
Full Time, Permanent once 12 weeks have been completed.
Minimum 6 months Class 1 Driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points
Duties
- Operate Class 1 lorries on long-haul routes, including tramper journeys, adhering to all road safety and traffic regulations
- Secure and unload cargo safely, ensuring the integrity of goods during transit
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any faults or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during journeys
- Follow company policies on health and safety procedures at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver background in a similar industry
- Familiarity with curtain side operations and securing loads for transit
- Valid UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
- Demonstrable knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards for large vehicles
- Prior experience operating flatbeds or similar specialised transport equipment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to undertake long-distance driving shifts comfortably and responsibly
