Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Part 2 Scaffolder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to develop their skills further within a dynamic environment. All positions are paid, including internships, and candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety during use.
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, or masons to facilitate smooth workflow on site.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly tasks.
- Follow detailed plans and drawings to ensure correct installation of scaffolding systems.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising materials and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding, preferably at Part 2 level or equivalent industry certification.
- Knowledge of related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or construction painting is advantageous.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques relevant to scaffolding assembly.
- Familiarity with site safety procedures and regulations governing scaffold work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks efficiently and safely.
Candidates should possess a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork, with the physical capability to perform demanding tasks in various outdoor environments. Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per week
