We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team at SDS. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering outstanding customer service and operating efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have recent van driving experience and a proactive attitude. Experience or interest in basic fleet coordination/management would be an advantage, as you may also support with fleet-related tasks when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery van in compliance with all traffic laws and company standards
- Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Load and unload goods, including handling heavy items where necessary
- Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Support basic fleet coordination activities where required

Key requirements: Applicants will only be considered if you can demonstrate the following:
- Must have driving experience in a van in the last year
- Must have a FULL UK driving licence for over 2 years
- Full UK licence with a maximum of 6 Points with no DD, CD or TT codes.
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Be able to travel to the depot at NE10
