About the Role
Job title: Finance Business Partner
Type of Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover, Full-time
Location: TRL Headquarters Wokingham / Hybrid
In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of project accounting for TRL Group. Working closely with operational teams to ensure that costs and revenue are captured and are in alignment with our commercial contracts. You will provide commentary on any variances to budget and forecast and inputs to the forecast process. You will also take responsibility for the invoice forecast for the overall business ensuring cash targets are met.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Month end reporting of Component / Business P&Ls to contribution.
- Provision of month end variance analysis and commentary.
- Production of overall business invoice forecast, ensuring invoices are raised in alignment to client contract and forecast is realised.
- Providing financial analysis to support the forecast and budgeting process.
- Mentoring of junior team member who will support with project admin tasks and invoicing.
Skills & Experience
Essential requirements
- Part / newly qualified accountant with a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
- Proven experience in project accounting.
- Analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
- This role will suit someone who can hit the ground running, quickly build relationships and confidently manage the responsibilities from the outset
