We are glad to offer an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing Automotive Logistics Company based in our busy Maidstone branch. Our business moved 20,000+ vehicles last annum around the UK for retailers and manufacturers with expectations of growth this coming year. We specialize in delivering new and used vehicles to customers, but also between dealerships, from auction sites and everything in between.
The hours would be 8.30am -6:00pm
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, personable, and meticulously organized individual with strong IT and communication skills with motivation to grow and thrive in a fast paced business setting. The role is to manage the office day to day administration whilst working closely with and supporting the Branch Manager.
The successful applicant will join the team at our Maidstone branch and assist in managing our team of 120+ trade plate and trailer drivers, ensuring their safety and compliance, making sure all jobs are completed effectively throughout the day whilst maintaining and managing our daily systems.
Providing a professional and reliable service to our customers is of paramount importance therefore a friendly, punctual, dependable, and organized approach is essential to succeed.
This is a busy environment however, we like to have fun and upon achievement of branch targets there are regular group incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work with our Senior Administrator to ensure compliance and organisation.
- Support the transport planning team to ensure the booking and fulfillment of work to be carried out by our driver team.
- Assist in management of the driver team, making sure their jobs go smoothly
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills. You will be required to communicate with clients, customers and drivers by phone, email and at times face to face.
- Ability to work well with and support your team members.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- To be versatile and resilient, in busy periods you will need to take on additional responsibilities
- Competent IT skills, you will be using various systems in your day to day. Microsoft, Adobe and Web based bespoke.
