Equans is looking for a Painter & Decorator to join our team on our contract with Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust estate on a permanent basis. The role is based across Sandwell Health Campus and Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH). This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of up to £29,600 per annum and benefits package.
Undertake decorative improvement work, maintenance, and repairs to the fabric of the building, as part of the Fabric (Days) Team
Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
- Deliver planned lifecycle programmes of internal & external painting, decoration, and maintenance
- Prepare surfaces and apply finishes including paint, varnish, and wallpaper.
- Carry out various Painting and Decorating tasks to a high standard as instructed by the company

The maintenance painter/decorator must have a background in painting and decorating
City and Guilds Institute Painting and Decorating Parts 1 and 2
Will have a good working knowledge of painting and decorating services
This role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
