MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a local company who are looking for an Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer or someone coming from a similar mechanical or electrical engineering background looking to build a long term career within the industrial industry. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair work across a range of industrial and commercial systems while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Role Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Breakdown response and emergency repair work
- Testing and commissioning systems to company standards
- Completing service and installation paperwork
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures
- Providing a professional and reliable service to customers on site
Essential Criteria
- Previous engineering, maintenance, mechanical, or electrical experience
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible approach to overtime and on call work
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience within industrial or access systems
- Experience with loading bay equipment or dock levellers
- Engineering qualifications
- Supervisory experience

- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
