We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our reputable accountancy practice. As an Accounts Assistant you will join our limited company accounts team and be responsible for preparing company accounts and building rapport with clients.
You will play an essential role in offering an exceptional service to clients ensuring their financial records are accurate and timely.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102 1A.
- Preparing and checking client VAT Returns.
- The preparation of client Tax Returns.
- Responding to client queries and providing support to clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice in an accounts assistant role.
- Relevant accounting qualifications such as part qualified/qualified AAT.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
