Multi-Skilled Maintenance Worker – Supported Living / Property Services
Location: East London
Salary: £30,000 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time)
Start Date: Immediate start required
We are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, supporting both supported living services and property/estate operations.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone practical, reliable, and able to work independently across a variety of maintenance tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across supported living units and managed properties
- Complete a range of tasks including:
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical works (within competence)
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Basic carpentry
- General garden maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies
- Ensure properties meet health & safety and compliance standards
- Prepare properties for new tenants/residents (void works)
- Conduct routine inspections and report issues
Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance worker / handyman
- Ability to carry out a wide range of repairs independently
- Good understanding of general building maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must have own van (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional, and well-organised

- A DBS check is mandatory (this will be arranged by the company)
