Carers Sitter Service is seeking an organised, compassionate, and proactive Administrator / Co-ordinator to join our team. Experience in adult care or the care sector and/or charity work would be an advantage but not essential. This is a rewarding opportunity to support carers and the people they care for, helping us continue to deliver an essential local service.
Hours
- 8 hours per week initially
- Working Wednesdays and Thursday (9.30am – 1.30pm)
- With the potential for additional hours in the future
Rate of Pay
- National Minimum Wage initially
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work alongside the current administrator and co-ordinator to:
- Co-ordinate the delivery of our sitting service for carers and their dependants
- Help manage and support our volunteers
- Respond to enquiries from service users, families, and professionals
- Promote the service within the local community
- Carry out general office and administrative duties
- Maintain organisational records, policies, and procedures
Areas Covered
The role will involve supporting visits across:
- Bourne, Stamford, The Deepings and villages
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Good administration and IT skills
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
