Hicks Group Practice is offering an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. They will work over both sites, Charles Hicks Centre, Huntingdon and Roman Gate Surgery, Godmanchester serving a patient population of 17,200 and growing due to new developments in the local area.
We are looking to expanding our nursing team and have a Health Care Assistant post available. We are looking for a full or part time post 27 to 36 hours. You will be working set hours between the hours of 8:00am -6pm, however flexibility will be required. The starting rate is £13.03 rising to £13.55 following full assimilation of the role, with a 6 month probationary period.
Experience of working in general practice/NHS and on SystmOne is preferred. The post holder will have responsibility for phlebotomy, wound management, long term chronic disease management of the general population, injections under a PSD, stock control and supporting the nursing team. Ideally we would like the candidate to be able to do some or all of the responsibilities listed before applying for this post.
We are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated person with good communication skills to join our established team. The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload is essential.
