Challenger Site Services is a growing, family-run business based in Ashton-under-Lyne, providing site sanitation services across the North West. We are now looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team.
What You’ll Get

- Typical hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm
- No weekends
- No changing shift patterns
- Local depot-based role - start and finish each day in Ashton-under-Lyne

Pay
- £16.00 per hour
- £660.00 per week
- £34,320.00 per year (full-time equivalent)
The Role
You’ll be responsible for servicing construction sites across the North West, carrying out:
- Effluent tank empties
- Water deliveries
- Daily vehicle checks
- Customer-facing site visits
You’ll work from a pre-planned daily route using a specialist 18-tonne tanker vehicle, spending most of your day out on the road.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Category C (Class 2) UK driving licence
- CPC qualification
- Good driving experience with HGV vehicles
- Professional and reliable attitude
Desirable:
- Experience driving tanker vehicles
- Strong customer service skills
